Having huge meals with friends is my all time favourite thing to do. I really don't see the point of any gathering if it doesn't involve passing out on the living room carpet when the guests leave because you're too full to make it up the stairs.

This year we had an early thanksgiving potluck with friends so I went all out.

Bacon wrapped turkey turned out amazing. Even though I overcooked it, the bacon drippings kept the meat still moist and gave the gravy a better flavour.
Cranberry wine punch: Basically just cranberry juice, orange juice, white wine, and ginger ale.
OMG stuffing muffins. Best idea ever.
Dave made a chocolate bourbon pecan pie for dessert.

Final Menu:

Bacon wrapped turkey with gravy

Buttermilk mashed potatoes

Sweet potatoes Anna

Stuffing muffins

Cranberry grape compote

Grandma's Sour Cream Scones

Barbecued mustard brussel sprouts

Red cabbage

Chocolate bourbon pecan pie

Raw avocado chocolate tarte

Eva is a sugar-dusted ball of fury rolling towards the madness that is everyday life. The next best thing to cooking is eating, especially when done in large groups.
